  • Redefining Next Technology Salon Panel Discussion, Tucson, Arizona

    Panel presentation and discussion exploring the flight of funding for primary research from the private sector to academia, and the challenge of bringing the benefits of academic research to market. Speakers include Iain McCreary, a former venture capitalist with extensive research into the trends in corporate R&D funding; Dave Allen, the Vice President of Tech Launch Arizona, the technology transfer office of the University of Arizona; Kirsten Leute, Senior Vice President of Osage University Partners; and Arundeep Pradhan, the President of Apio Partners, a research commercialization consultancy.     Bob Peterson, Former President and CEO of One Source Federal Credit Union.

    Bob Peterson will present on major pain points for startups when forming the company and seeking funding. Bob will discuss the different types of funding available for startups along with expectations from investors. He has 25+ years’ experience in banking, management, sales, and marketing. Bob serves on six boards and is very well-connected to numerous El Paso industries.
